A - Earth & Space Science 11 - Today I will have you brainstorm a Know-Want to Know chart on volcanoes. You will need to list out what you know (or think you know) about volcanoes (where they are, names, what they can do, etc...) and brainstorm a list of questions you have always wanted to know but never asked. We'll then look at the processes that create magma (temperature, pressure, and water) and also magma behaviour. You'll have no homework tonight...that's because you have a quiz on tectonics and earthquakes tomorrow.
B - Social Studies 10 - Today we are going to continue our editorial cartoon work. Your cartoons are due tomorrow in class so it would be wise to spend today's class time in a productive and useful manner....in other words get it done.
C - Criminology 12 - Welcome to Criminology 12. Today we will go through the course outline package and get our Criminology: The Core textbook from the library. I have two questions that I'd like you to brainstorm:
- What is the purpose of laws and what is a crime
- Why do people commit crime
After a few minutes I'd like you to partner up and get your ideas on a large sheet of paper to share with the class. We'll try to make sense of your ideas and will continue this through tomorrow.
