Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

Today is the penultimate day for the school year...the second last day in the semester. Exams begin on Wednesday this week and for Social Studies 10 students that means your exam is on Wednesday, June 17th from 1:00 until 3:00 pm (two days from now). Social Studies 11 students write their Provincial Exam on Friday, June 19th from 8:45 - 11:30 am.

Take heed the wisdom of Yoda...
"No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try!"

C - Criminology 12 - Today we will have our last quiz in the course (White Collar, Gangs, Prostitution, and Drug Use). After we mark the first two sections together, you'll have the remainder of the class to finish your major project which is due tomorrow (20% of your final mark...remember the philosophy of Yoda).

A - Social Studies 11
- Today in class we'll continue the Six Degrees Could Change the World DVD from Friday. We'll look at the potential changes of a 1 to 3 degrees centigrade warmer world and discuss the impacts on BC, Canada, and the world. This discussion of population pressure, quality of life, development issues, and environmental issues will lead us to tomorrow's topic of the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

B- Social Studies 10 - Today we'll begin our review for the final exam on Wednesday. On the first day of classes I handed out your course outline which had a three page review of things you should know for the final exam. Today you should go through the list and highlight all of the things that you need to spend some time reviewing (questions that you cannot answer). Tomorrow morning we'll have a Jeopardy review in class.
