It's Bike to Work Week! Ride your bike to school this week and register each day at the front entrance. Each day you ride & register you get an entry for a draw to win this Sweet Kona Fire Mountain bike. Today please be sure to hand in your passports to the leadership students at the front entrance. The draw for the winning prize will take place on Tuesday, after the long weekend.

Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

C - Criminology 12 - Today we will continue our look at violent crime. We will focus on murder today. We'll discuss the divisions of murder in Canada (1st and 2nd degree and manslaughter), the extent of murder in Canada, and murderous relations (acquaintance and stranger homicide). For the last half hour of the class we'll watch a documentary on Jeffrey Dahmer (viewer discretion is advised here and if you feel uncomfortable at any point you may leave the class). We are watching the documentary to understand the psychopathology of a serial rapist and murderer.

A - Social Studies 11 - Today is your last day with Mr. Lux. You'll spend the class wrapping up the cold war work that you've started with Mr. Lux and finish the video "Why we Fight". On Tuesday, next week, we'll pick up again with the Cold War and analyze the effects of fear on citizens in Canada and the United States.

B- Social Studies 10 - Today is your last day with Mr. Lux. You'll spend the class wrapping up the Canadian Pacific Railway work that you've started with Mr. Lux.
