Tuesday's schedule is A-B-Lunch-C-D.

A - Law 12 - Yesterday we looked at legal rights in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms (sections 7-9). Today we'll continue looking at our legal rights by focusing on sections 10-14. We'll then spend the rest of the class talking about equality and looking at section 15. We'll work on the Thibaudeau v. Canada (1995) case together as a class and then you'll be responsible for completing questions 8-11 on page 44 (due tomorrow with the R. v. Keegstra review and q's 1-4 from p. 44)

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - Yesterday we worked on questions 5-8 on page 70 in the text (magma and igneous rocks). Today we'll get some notes on the three different rock types to supplement our rock cycle diagram and we'll work on questions 9-19 from page 70 in the text. Tomorrow we'll start looking at mining minerals, ores, and fossil fuels which leads us into our project on Thursday and Friday this week.

D - Geography 12 - Today we'll transfer some notes into our week 3 package on the rock cycle and then we'll focus on igneous rocks and plutonic features. We'll have a diagram to complete and then there will be three questions to work on (12, 13, & 14 from page 366 in your Geosystems textbook). If time permits we will look at some footage of Kilauea and try to understand the type of lava (rhyolite? andesite? peridotite? basalt?)
