Today's schedule is B-A-D-C

B Block Introduction to Law 10 - Extra Block! Today I have the learning commons/library booked so that you may work on the Clue Us In crime scene investigation project. Remember you need to create a crime...replicate the crime scene...investigate the crime as if you were an R.C.M.P. officer...and prepare a dossier file to hand over to Crown Counsel so that they may prosecute the case. It's due today...Good Luck. Check out the Crime Museum (Crime Library Forensic Science) website for sweet info. If you are finished then you may work through the Rookie Training simulation on the Rice University's CSI: The Experience Web Adventure . Please do the training for Forensic Biology (DNA), Toxicology, Firearms and Toolmarks (Ballistics), Medical Examiner (Pathologist) and CSI Ethics.

A Block Law 12 - Today I have the library/learning commons booked for you to continue your work on the major civil law project that is due two weeks from today. Including today you have Six (6) library blocks left to finish this assignment...no pressure really. And don't forget if you're choosing to do three cases with a video for your law firm...you had better start script writing and planning your production dates ASAP

D Block Human Geography 11 - Today we continue with our key issue, "Why Do Services Cluster in Settlements"? The process by which the populations of urban settlements grow is known as urbanization. Urbanization has two dimensions: an increase in the percentage of people living in urban settlements and an increase in the number of people living urban settlements. These two factors have different global distributions and occur for different reasons. So, Vancouver?

Would you live in the downtown of a city or out in the suburbs?

C Block Criminology 12 - Today we finish the Casey Anthony trial coverage from 2011 in the USA.  HLN's Nancy Grace covered the Casey Anthony trial heavily in 2011. After the verdict here's what she had to say - which further shaped the public's opinion of Casey Anthony even after she was found not guilty by a jury of her peers

Now, here's what the media had to say about the media covering the Casey Anthony trial

Does the trial have a longer lasting impact on the USA or was it just 15 minutes of fame and a distraction from mundane daily life? Because of her actions, Nancy Grace has been spoofed on SNL and MadTV to name just two

HBO had a television series called The Newsroom and they had an amazing bit on Nancy Grace's coverage of Tot Mom...

CNN did a retrospective piece on the trial here

Whew...so in the end here's my last question for you to answer:
  1. Who would you want deciding your guilt or innocence? A jury of your peers or CNN and Nancy Grace? Regardless of your opinion of Casey Anthony is it possible for her to escape the negative label of "Tot Mom" and will she ever be able to avoid the horrible mother image presented by CNN and Nancy Grace?
