Happy Birthday Noah!

Today's schedule is C-D-A-B

C Block Criminology 12 - Today we'll begin our seminar discussions on the topics you've been researching. I'll ask for "volunteers" rather than "voluntolds" to get the ball rolling today (but we've already got the first four spots slotted in already). I am really looking forward to seeing what Criminological topic you're interested in. Remember you've got a minimum of five minutes and a maximum of eight minutes; this is not a stressful situation. Good luck.

D Block Social Studies 11 - Today with Ms. Curry...we'll continue watching Cinderella Man (it's a long movie!). If you need some time to finish up the questions about the Depression, you'll have some this class. If you have already finished them, you can read about the Canadian government's reaction to the Depression.

A Block Law 12 - Today with Ms. Curry...we'll discuss the Controlled Substances Act today, and then afterwards, you'll get a good chunk of time to work on your projects. I've rented out the netbooks so that you can get started on your research.

B Block Geography 12 - Today we're looking at glaciers and we'll make sense of how they erode the landscape and examine the landforms they create. We'll understand the differences amongst the various alpine and continental glaciers and we'll define: cirque, arete, pyramidical peak, hanging valley, truncated spur, esker, drumlin, kettle lake, and fjord; along with questions 3, 8, and 12 from page 587 in your Geosystems text.
