Aaaah the last official day of classes. The schedule for the day is D-C-B-A

D Block Criminology 12 - Today we have nine people left to present their criminology topics for our seminar presentations. I wish to thank all of those students who volunteered to go yesterday and I sincerely look forward to today's presentations. Best of luck.

C Block Geography 12 - WALL-E  was a Pixar (Disney) movie released in 2008 and directed by Andrew Stanton. Stanton has been on record stating that WALL·E was not created with any environmental or anti-consumerist ideals in mind; he clearly indicated that it was a love story about two robots...and it is. As true as the love story may be it is also patently clear that there is a profound underlying environmental message in the movie as well (intended or not). The message is more connected to the movie's plot - the background to tell the love story between WALL-E and EVE - and as such it is subtle but none the less clear. The message is that irreparable harm will take hold to our ecosystems and the planet as a whole if we do not alter our course and that we should return to a respectful relationship with nature and the Earth. So is it "preachy"? No. Is the message wrong? You decide.

B Block Law 12 - Day two of your exam sees you complete the selected response section.

You have assignments due today...please do not give me any "My dog ate my homework" or "My computer crashed with all my work on it" excuses. Turn in your work today please.

A Block Social Studies 11 - Today is your Provincial Exam from 1 - 3 pm. Yesterday, if you showed up to class, I told you where you are writing your exam. Good luck.
