A - Social Studies 11 - Today the will finish all of our work on Quebec “nationalism” that we didn't get to yesterday. We'll go through pages 198 – 204 as a class and then work on the following questions:

You will also watch Canada: A People’s History episodes “In an Uncertain World” chapters 5 “Solidarity”,6 “The Night of the Long Knives”, and 12 “With Honour and EnthusiasmB - Geography 12 - Today we will continue our work on biogeographic realms and biomes. You will need to have your explanations and questions completed by tomorrow so that you can get the work handed in.

C - Introduction to Law 9/10 - Today we'll look at the four parties to a criminal offense and you'll begin a small cartoon activity about the topic. You'll get an 11x17 sheet of paper; you'll select one criminal offense; and then you'll need to draw/identify the four parties to that offense (primary actor or perpetrator, aider, abettor, and counselor).

D - Law 12 - Today we will spend the entire block working on our civil law case study project. Take a look at the section on Trespass to Person and Property in Intentional Torts (chapter 12 - pages 321-327) in the All About Law textbook. There are defenses to trespass (consent, self-defense, defense of a third party, defense of property, legal authority, and necessity) that you should take a look at as well (pages 328-331). You should be aware that there are 9 classes remaining until our final exam days and 11 classes remaining until our major project is due....no pressure.
