Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

D- Law 12 - Today we'll finish the Law & Order episode on Alzheimer's Disease and murder (Sundown). After we discuss the video you'll have the class to continue working on your Criminal Law Defenses activity. Remember that this activity is due Thursday (November 19th) and your Criminal Law test is on that day as well. The test is on all of the material that we have covered in our criminal law unit (Chapters 3, 7, 8, and the last section of Chapter 5 in All About Law). Please take some time to review your notes and questions that you have had returned to you in the "outbox" in the class.

C - Introduction to Law 9/10 - Today we'll share your own theories of why crime happens. We'll see if there are any similarities amongst the different theories we made and try to understand just what that may mean. We'll then go to the library and create a blog for our law work. Your first blog entry will be to post your personal crime theory that you created this past weekend. Tomorrow we'll look in the course text (handout) and discuss the biological AND sociological reasons for criminal behaviour and Wednesday we'll look at Crime Victimization and look for trends in victimization (age, gender, and social status)

A - Social Studies 11 - Today with Mr. Jones you will be covering the military strategic movements in Europe and the Pacific at the beginning of World War Two. You'll look at the Fall of France, the Battle of Britain (Operation Sea Lion & the Blitz), along with Barbarossa in Europe. In the Pacific you'll look at Pearl Harbor and Hong Kong.

B- Geography 12 - Today....Oh today we start weather, the best topic ever! We will look at extremes of weather to get an idea of how cool (or hot) weather really is. I'm so excited to be starting weather! Hail, lightning, tornadoes, and hurricanes are four on "the list" get ready, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Every day we are going to start by looking at the synoptic forecast along with weather maps.

AND Today is Weather and Climate Day for Geography Awareness Week here in Canada; kind of appropriate for all of the landslides and flooding that came in with the severe weather warnings (wind @ 70km/h and rainfall amounts of 30-90mm) SWEET!
