Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

D - Law 12
- Today we will we'll continue our look at criminal law procedures and will focus on release procedures and habeas corpus along with disclosure, preliminary hearings, pre-trial motions, and plea bargaining. Today's work includes questions 1 & 2 from page 104 and questions 5, 6, and 7 from page 109.

C - Introduction to Law 9/10 -
Today we are going to watch the A&E documentary on profiling the criminal mind (focusing on Wayne Williams in Atlanta and Robert Hanson in Alaska) and then I'll have you try to build a criminal profile of a computer hacker. I'd like you to read through the section in your class text (handout) on “geographic profiling” and then using the information about organized criminals on page 7 of your handout, try to build a profile of a person who commits criminal mischief (computer hacking) in the class. Complete this as a “dossier file” and imagine that it will be provided to the computer forensics department of the local R.C.M.P. detachment.

A - Social Studies 11 - With Mr. Jones you will be taking a look at the Holocaust.

B - Geography 12 - Today we'll continue our look at weather, completing our look at energy distribution, the greenhouse effect and temperature. Our first focus today will be energy distribution, albedo, and the Greenhouse effect (and connect those topics to global warming). We'll take a look at two sections of the National Geographic video "Six Degrees Could Change the World" and the Futurama clip that Al Gore used in his movie "An Inconvenient Truth". In class today, you will need to work on questions 1, 3, & 6 from page 117 along with questions 9 & 11 on page 118 AND questions 5, 8, 12 & 13 from page 141 and 16 from page 142 of your Geosystems textbook. We will pay more attention to global warming and climate change later on in the course.
