Today's schedule is B-AG-A-D-C

B Block Social Studies 11 - Today we'll have the block to work on the bill into law comic / cartoon that we started yesterday. Don't forget to use the Make it Law sheet we used to form ideas yesterday and the legislative process steps I outlined with you in class. If you need help look in your Counterpoints textbook and the Parliament of Canada "Follow That Bill" website.

A Block Law 9/10 - Today you are going to continue your work on the Strombo criminology interview that you started yesterday in class and we are going to finish our look at the biological and sociological reasons for crime. After, we'll talk about the victims of crime. Crime Victimization is a huge area of study in Criminology and we'll try to make sense of some victim statistics. You'll need to bring your coloured pencils tomorrow as you will be drawing what you think the typical victim of an assault looks like. You will need to keep in mind the demographic statistics about victims and the factors that add to the risks of being a victim. This will be due on Friday and then you will have a quiz on Monday. The quiz will be on the first four pages of your notebook that you'll get today (and will cover the topics we cover in Law 9/10 this week).

C Block Social Studies 10 - Today you are going to continue your work on the Summerland topographic map (82E/12). The questions you need to work on are 2 (a&b), 3 (c&d), 4, 5 (a-e), 6, 7, 8 (a-c, omit d, e-g) on pages 50-52 of the Geographic Understandings text. Remember For questions 5 & 8 consider the following agribusinesses in Summerland:
Dirty Laundry Vineyards
Sumac Ridge Estate Winery
Sonoran Estate Winery
