Day 72 - Friday January 7. 2011

C - Law 12 - Today we are going to the library to work through the case study project. Please make sure you take a minute to thank Mrs. Zirkl for making space in the lab that she has booked. On Monday and Tuesday we will be in the library to work on the major case study project. A reminder that there are now only eight (8) classes remaining before our two in-class exam days and ten (10) classes remaining before the case study project is due.

D - Geography 12 - Today we will continue our work on biogeographic realms and biomes. You will need to have your explanations and questions completed by Monday so that you can get the work handed in. For help with biomes this weekend look at:

NASA Earth Observatory - Mission Biomes
University of California Biomes web page
Enchanted Learning - Biomes
Blue Planet Biomes
Center for Educational Technologies Biome page
Radford University Introduction to Biomes web site

Missouri Botanical Gardens Biomes Web site

A - Introduction to Law 9/10 - Today we are back in the classroom. Your major project is due today and I can't wait to take a look to see your crime scenes. When you come to class and you've handed in your project - because it's due today - I'll have you write "5 Burning Questions" about Law that you've always wanted answered. These will be anonymous questions that you'll put in the Law Question Box and I'll take some time each day to answer them. When we've gone over a few questions I'll put an episode of Law and Order (Seed from Season 5). From TV.COM...A routine investigation into a woman's death leads Briscoe and Logan to a fertility doctor guilty of unethical practices, but who apparently cannot be touched because of confidentiality rules, and patient reluctance to talk.
