D - Geography 12 - Today we will quickly review the notes we've taken on the rock cycle, and the process of metamorphic rock creation (contact, regional, and dynamic metamorphism). After our review we will look at tectonics and plate boundaries (divergent, convergent, and transform), then we'll look at geothermal energy and the effects of the Juan de Fuca plate and ridge just off our shores. You will also have the opportunity to work on your Juan de Fuca plate question as well.

C - Law 12 - Today is your last day in the library to work on your review the Keegstra case (R. v. Keegstra, 1990). You are a newspaper reporter writing a respective story on the case after the Supreme Court of Canada made its final decision on the matter. Check Friday's blog entry for more information on the content for your article. When you've finished writing the document I'll take some time to show you how to format it as a newspaper article. Tomorrow we'll look at sections 11-14 as well as section 15 of the Charter and we'll do a couple of cases to help. Your unit final will be next Monday (October 4th) and will be on our introduction to law unit (chapters 1 & 2 in the All About Law text).
A - Introduction to Law 9/10 - Tomorrow you have your second quiz in Law 9/10 yet today we will venture off to the library to continue work on your project about nasty people. Don't forget you need to hand in your profile of a person who commits criminal mischief (computer hacking) in the class. Complete this as a “dossier file” and imagine that it will be provided to the computer forensics department of the local R.C.M.P. detachment. this was due last Friday yet there were many people who forgot to hand it in.
