Happy Birthday to my son Noah!

Today's schedule is A-B-C-D

B Block Physical Geography 12 - If the weather holds, I'd like for us to take the class to walk down to the Tsolum River to look at fluvial processes and riparian environments. This field exploration connects to the topics we looked at last week (floodplains and stream profiles along with fluvial transport and stream dynamics). I hope that you have some sturdy shoes with you while we trek through the snow for our exploration of the river.

C Block Human Geography 11 - Today and tomorrow we'll look at the key question "Where Are Religions Distributed"? To that end today I'll have you divided up into six groups (4 groups of five and 2 groups of four) and each group will be responsible for discovering as much as they can about one of: Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam or Christianity. You'll need to find out how many followers there are, where the followers are distributed, beliefs and teachings (including books and or scriptures), branches (or subdivisions), and Holy locations. I'll give you some chart paper and smelly felts and your group will be responsible for creating and presenting a poster fact sheet for the class (remember think geographically with this activity). You may also use the website or the website or the BBC links above.

D Block Criminology 12 - We have the library booked for you to finish up your term one blog posts:
