Today's schedule is B-A-D-C

B Block Geography 12 - We'll spend the class finishing our review of hurricanes. We’ll start with the Raging Planet Hurricane episode (yesterday, we left when Dr. Ivor Van Heerden was surveying the damage from Hurricane Ike on Galveston Island off the east coast of Texas) and then we’ll take a look at climatology and climate types on the planet, making sense of the Koppen climate classification system. Tomorrow, Friday and Monday we're in the library working on our next project which I'll post more on tomorrow.

D Block Social Studies 11 - Today is the 70th anniversary of the attach on Pearl Harbor and we'll finish our look at the military campaigns we began yesterday (Blitz & Barbarossa in Europe and Hong Kong and Pearl Harbor in the Pacific). We'll also examine Dieppe and Canada's role in that battle today. Tomorrow we'll focus on Japanese Internment and D-Day. You have the rest of the class to work on your propaganda poster for Canada in World War Two.

C Block Law 9/10 - Today we will continue our look at crime scene investigation. We will look at the basic stages of a search, documenting evidence, and examples of what is included in a crime scene investigator's toolkit. After this you may continue your work on the crime scene investigation project (Clue Us In). You'll have some time as the week goes along to finish up this crime scene reconstruction activity and the assignment is due next Thursday, December 15th, 2011. I posted the details of this assignment on this blogsite so check out yesterday's entry for help.
