Today's schedule is D-C-A-B

D & A - Criminology 12 - Today we begin with some time to finish up our shoplifting poster and then we'll look at burglary & Break and Enter. I'll give you a few notes and then you'll need to answer the following: What characteristics must a good burglar have? (Look at Neil Shover's explanation on page 264) and What are the differences between male and female burglars? After that we'll watch an episode of Leverage (the Snow Job) from Season 1. The Leverage team helps a beleaguered National Guardsman to find justice against the unscrupulous construction firm that foreclosed on his home. Keep an eye on the skill set of the burglars and watch how they play their mark.

C - Geography 12 - Today we are going to look at soil: specifically structure, properties, and formation (on Monday we'll focus on classification and seeing how soil classes are related to biomes and climates). We'll understand what a soil profile looks like and discover how colour, texture, and acidity differentiate soils. You'll need to complete questions 1 & 4 from page 620 and 8 & 11 from page 621 in your Geosystems textbook.

B - Earth & Space Science 11 - You're back in the library today for your next day to work on the major project for the year. Don't forget that it is your responsibility to create a review of the Earth & Space Science curriculum for a student in grade 7 (12 to 13 years old). Your next checkpoint is today and this will be your first project mark for term four. After today there are just three weeks left in the course to complete your project so please make sure that you use your time wisely.
