Today's schedule is B-A-Lunch-D-C

B - Social Studies 10 - Today I'll start with giving you some time to finish your questions from yesterday's class (What were the causes of discontent in Lower Canada?, question 5 from page 30 and questions 9, 10 and 11 from page 31 of the Challenge of the West textbook). Next, we'll start with reviewing the rebellion of Lower Canada in 1837-1838. We'll talk about the 92 Resolutions proposed by Louis Joseph Papineau and the British response. After, you'll get a chance to watch a the Canada: A People's History episode "Three Angry Men" about Mackenzie, Howe and Papineau.

A - Earth & Space Science 11 - Today we continue on the second part of our geologic time work. We'll watch a short video on "Prehistoric Earth" to help with your activity and your geologic time line activity. We'll also take a look at the National Geographic Prehistoric Timeline and then you'll work through the "Geologic Time Worksheet 2" using pages 84-90 in the Earth Science and the Environment text. This deals with both absolute and relative time dating principles.

C - Criminology 12 - We'll take the block to look over the differences between mass and serial murder. Yesterday I asked you to look in the text to find out motivations for mass and serial murder. On line you can find out more at:
