Exam Week

Hi everybody. It's Tuesday and we are smack dab in the middle of Exam Week here at G.P. Vanier Secondary School.

For Geography students who wrote the Provincial Exam you will not find out your results until the end of February / beginning of March. You will need your P.E.N. (Personal Education Number) to check the exam results and final grade on line at the Ministry of Education site below. If you wrote the school based final your exams have been marked. All of your school final grades are now posted in room 611. Don't forget to watch the announcements for the Mount Saint Helens trip meeting which will most likely be in the third week of February.

For senior Law students (12) who wrote the exam last Thursday and Friday, your exams and projects have now been marked. Your final grades are posted in room 611.

For junior Law students (9/10) your web sites have been marked and your final grades are posted in room 611. Four grade 10 students and Five grade 9 students have given me a broken link to follow, an unpublished link to follow, a working link without a name attached to it (blowstuffup.weebly.com) or simply have not given me your web page address to look at. Please make sure I have your work to mark so that you can avoid an "I" designation as a grade in junior law.

For Social Studies students, your exam is tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, January 27, 2009). On your course outline I gave you a study guide for the Provincial Exam and by now you should have been reviewing it. You can get help and hints at LearnNow (check out the student section) or from StudyBuzz. You could also look at practice exams on the BC Ministry of Education Exam Site here. I'll also be in room 611 tomorrow morning if you have any questions before the exam.

Find exam results at the BC Ministry of Education EdAccess site here ( don't forget you need to know your PEN
