Today's schedule is B-A-Lunch-D-C

B - Geography 12 - Today you have a unit final on weather...No problems! I am certain that you will do well on this test as you've shown me that you can read and interpret a weather map with greater ability than most news "weather forecasters". The rest of the week sees us watch the movie "Twister"....more on that tomorrow.

A - Social Studies 11 - Sincere there were three of you in class yesterday, today we'll work on what I posted in yesterday's class. So, we'll continue to examine the dramatic changes to Canada's culture and identity as a result of the "baby boom" generation. We'll look at how the government tried to protect Canadian culture and the economy along with the development of both the environmental and woman's rights movements. We'll watch a few episodes of Canada: A People's History and then you'll need to work on question 6 from page 167; questions 1 & 2 from page 172; question 2 from page 176 and questions 2 & 3 from page 182 of the Counterpoints textbook.

D - Law 12 - Today we will work on questions from the end of Chapter 10: Exploring Legal Concepts questions 5 a & b and 6 a & b on page 286 and Reviewing Your Reading questions 1 a & b, 3, and 4 on pages 278-9 in your All About Law textbook. In whatever time remains you can work on your civil law case study project.

C - Introduction to Law 9/10 - Today we will complete the quiz that you were supposed to work on yesterday in class. After we finish marking the quiz we'll then complete the "I Detective" video from Friday and whatever time remains you can polish up your Crime Scene reconstruction - investigation report. You'll hand in the "I Detective" answer sheet today and remember that your report is due tomorrow (I have previous examples in the class that you can review). This crime scene reconstruction - investigation makes up a pretty big part of your term mark so it would be a good idea to dedicate some time to finishing it and getting it to me tomorrow. We will start criminal law procedures after the Christmas break (what is a crime, intent, strict liability and indictable offenses along with the four parties to an offense).
