Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

D- Law 12 - Today we'll continue our look at the Controlled Drug and Substances Act in Canada and driving infractions related to drug use. You'll have the block to finish all the work from Friday and yesterday. What do you need to hand in?
  1. Drinking & Driving cases mental map activity
  2. Questions 6, 7, and 8 from page 229
  3. Chapter 8 Crossword review activity
Tomorrow we move on to criminal law defenses.

A - Social Studies 11 - Today with Mr. Jones you will continue your look at the 1930's. The focus of today's class is the Dust Bowl on the Prairies, pogey, relief camps, and the On to Ottawa Trek. Tomorrow you'll look at protest parties that developed in the 1930's.

B- Geography 12 - Today we will look at deserts and desert environments. We'll see what Tim & Moby have to say about deserts and we'll analyze the different types of deserts. You'll define alluvial fan, playa, yardang, and sand dune. You'll have a question on desertification and there are some good websites to help here:

If there's time we'll watch the "How the Earth was Made" video on the Atacama Desert. Do not forget that you have a unit final test on Monday.
