Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

D- Law 12 - Today we'll review Friday's work on consent, entrapment, mistake of fact, and double jeopardy (Charter of Rights & Freedoms section 11(h) and C.C. section 12). For the remainder of the class you and a partner will discuss the defence of "Battered Women's Syndrome" in R. v. Lavallee (1990). You'll work on questions 1-6 on the "At Issue" section (p. 145) and hand that in with your questions from page 141 today. You can find more on Battered Women Syndrome / Defense at:

A - Social Studies 11 - Today with Mr. Jones you will continue your look at the rise of European dictators in the 1930's. You'll watch three You Tube videos today:

Mussolini declaring war on England and France
Stalin speaking about the new Soviet constitution
Hitler speaking about the push into Stalingrad

You'll examine the differences in the amount of people and the types of crowds listening to the speeches. You'll work on a flow chart on the differences amongst Nazism - Fascism - Communism along with five questions on the steps to war.

B- Geography 12 - Today you have your Gradation Unit Final test. This test will take the whole class to complete and if came prepared then I am certain you will do fine. Relax, breathe, and dazzle me with what you know.
