Today's schedule is C-D-Lunch-B-A

C - Criminology 12 - Today we have our quiz on white collar and organized crime. After the quiz you will be finishing the organized crime poster from Friday's class (gangs in Canada) and we'll take a look at what you found. Don't forget that today you have work due - "Can Corporations Commit Murder" questions 1 & 2 from page 285 as well as question 1 from page 291 in your Criminology the Core textbook.
Don't mess with the Gangsta Chimp!

When we are done that - if there is time - we will then turn our focus to public order crimes (prostitution, pornography, gambling, and substance abuse). To begin we will discuss the differences between law and morality (criminal vs. immoral) and talk about moral crusaders.

B- Social Studies 10 - Today we will continue our look at the factors that led to Confederation in Canada. We'll take a look at the London Conference and the BNA Act along with the federal model of government we selected. You will complete questions 13, 14, and 16 from page 58 in the Challenge of the West textbook and the review of confederation worksheet that I'll give you in class. This Friday (April 3rd) you'll have a unit final on confederation.

A - Social Studies 11 - To start the class today, you'll have time to finish up the Canada in the 1920's poster that you began yesterday in class. When you're finished we'll put the posters up on the blackboard and review your findings. We'll take some notes down about the 1920's in Canada (regionalism, independence, economy, women, culture, and racism) and then we'll turn our focus to the Stock Market Crash of 1929.
