C - Criminology 12 - Today we will spend some time looking at crime trends and patterns. You'll get a quick Power Point presentation on the sections of the chapter I asked you to look at for your letter to the editor yesterday (Explaining Crime Trends p 37-8 and Crime Patterns p. 42-9). When finished you should start working on the letter (which will be due on Monday of next week).

B- Social Studies 10 - Today we continue with presentations and looking at the Physio-geographic regions of Canada.
A - Social Studies 11 - Today we start with a quick pop/review quiz on government. This quiz will let you know how well prepared you are for the unit quiz on Friday. After the quiz I'll have you work on some questions from the Counterpoints book (p. 253 q 2 & 4, p. 258 q 1 & 4, p. 264 q 1 & 3 and p.267 q 1 & 3)
Nestled away, in the back corner of G.P. Vanier, you'll find room 115 (we used to be 611). Lurking in the shadows of this room is Mr. Young...waiting to pounce on unsuspecting students and natter on about volcanoes, hail, psychopathy, criminal law defenses, cultural diffusion, media theories, crime, and urban models of city development. He loves his job in 115 and can't wait to work with you this year.
