Today's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B

C - Criminology 12 - Today we will review the victimization work from yesterday's class. I will have you take a few notes down about the social ecology of victims (the house, age, gender, social status, race & ethnicity, and marital status). After we'll start watching the Law& Order: Special Victim's Unit episode "Closure". This episode deals with the short and long-term effects of a sexual assault on a victim. From TV.com "Benson does her best to help a rape victim who is able to describe her attack in perfect detail, yet unable to properly identify her attacker when push comes to shove. When the detectives revisit the case a few months later, they find the woman even less willing to talk about what happened, as she claims she has moved on."
I want you to think about this episode for Monday's class when we'll finish the show and then work on a journal/blog entry about both this episode and a story you find on victims here in BC.

From Mr. Lux.

A - Social Studies 11 - Today you will complete our two week unit on government with a final quiz. After that you can prep for Mr. Young's return on Monday

B- Social Studies 10 - Today you will have a quiz to finish up the unit on the physiogeographic regions of Canada.

Mr. Lux. will be back in April and on Monday you'll be working with me again.
Pau Hana!
