C - Criminology 12 - Today we'll finish the Warner Brothers cartoon analysis from yesterday's class. We'll then complete our discussion with a few notes on the question: Where does violence come from? We'll look at personal traits, ineffective families, evolutionary factors, exposure to violence, cultural values, substance abuse, and firearm availability. After that we'll try to make sense of homicide and this leads us to tomorrow's topic of mass and serial murder.
A - Earth & Space Science 11 - Today we'll continue with our look at rocks with the Earth Materials Worksheets (3-4-5) . We'll start with a few notes about clastic and non-clastic sedimentary rocks (process and composition). Here, in southwestern BC, the rock strata under our feet is quite varied. From NRC Canada check out this diagram:

Or check out their website on the three rock types in Canada at Geoscape Canada

B - Social Studies 10 - Today we'll start by continuing to look over our definitions from yesterday: Family Compact, United Empire Loyalist, Clergy Reserves, Assembly, and Governor. We'll read through the story of the rebellion in the textbook (pages 1-4) as a precursor to the chapter. I'd like you to read through pages 5-9 in the book.
