Tuesday's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B.

D - Geography 12 - Today we'll talk about air pollution, specifically the anthropogenic additions to our atmosphere. We will look at the effects of nitrogen oxides and sulphur dioxides on human health and terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

C - Introduction to Law 9/10 - Today we are going to spend time discussing the differences between mass and serial murder. We will look at profiling and begin to understand what a psychopath is. Dr. Robert Hare of the University of British Columbia created a checklist called the PCL-R (Psychopathy Checklist Revised). We will look at a video on how profiling was developed in the F.B.I. Behavioural Science Unit through the efforts of many highlighted by the work of John Douglas. In Canada the R.C.M.P. call the technique criminal investigative analysis.

A - Law 12 - Today we will review the work we did yesterday on searches and warrants. We will look at R. v. Wise (1992) and R. v. Ruiz (1991) as a class. After you'll work on release procedures and habeas corpus along with disclosure, preliminary hearings, pre-trial motions, and plea bargaining. Today's work includes questions 1 & 2 from page 104 and questions 5, 6, and 7 from page 109.

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - Today we continue our look at water by looking at streams, floodplains, deltas, lakes, and groundwater. You'll have some definitions to complete and questions 7, 8, 10, and 11 from page 273.

It's Geography Awareness Week! Today is all about Physical Geography and Environments and the Canadian Association of Geographers has designated today as Water Day.
