Wednesday's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B.

D - Geography 12 - Yesterday we started a topographic map assignment on Prince Rupert in class. We did questions 1 & 2 together and I asked you to complete questions 3 & 4 a/b on your own. Today we need to complete the map assignment by working on questions 5, 7 a, b, d, and e, and 9 a & b. I will then ask you to brainstorm a K-W-L (Know - Want to Know - Learned) list of information you know about and questions that you have about tectonics and the internal structure of the earth.

A - Law 12 - Yesterday we began our look at the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms by identifying the ways that your rights can be limited (sections 1, 32, and 33). You will need to hand in your questions on the Ford v. Attorney General of Quebec (1988) case (q. 1-4). Today we'll look at our fundamental freedoms (notes), we'll go over the B. (R.) v. Children's Aid Society of Metropolitan Toronto (1995) case and you'll work on the R. v. Keegstra (1990) case as if you were covering it for a newspaper.

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - Yesterday we finished our identifying minerals lab and had two additional questions to complete (questions 13 & 15 from page 43). Today we'll briefly go over mineral families (Silicates, Oxides, Carbonates) and then spend time discussing rocks and the rock cycle. Thursday we're in the library where I will introduce to you the major project for the year and outline the mining project you'll be working on next week. NOTE: our first quiz will be on Monday, next week (September 22nd).
