Tuesday's schedule is D-C-Lunch-A-B.

D - Geography 12 - Yesterday we took some notes about the three types of faults and watched Bill Nye talk about earthquakes (epi-epi-epi-epi-epicenter....Science Rules!). Today I will show you some footage of the Izmit and Loma Prieta earthquakes (that we didn't get to yesterday) and we'll then look at the differences between fault slippage earthquakes and megathrust earthquakes. Tonight you'll need to answer the question "How do tsunamis work?" Tomorrow we'll watch "The wave that shook the world" and "America's tsunami: Are we next?"

A - Law 12 - Yesterday we started into our criminal law unit by identifying, with a partner, one crime in the Criminal Code. Today we're going to look at the types of criminal offenses (summary conviction, indictable, hybrid) and the elements of a crime (with special attention focused on the Mens Rea - intent, knowledge, and recklessness). You'll need to work on questions 1-3 on page 67 and 3-7 on page 74 in the law textbook.

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - Today is a bonus work day in the library for our mining project. The project is due this Friday so do not delay or misuse your time. Focus and get it done.
