Today's schedule is B-A-Lunch-D-C.

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - We are in the library today and tomorrow, working on our mining poster. Remember that you need to gather information about one specific substance mined in Canada and there are many minerals, ores, gems, metals, and fossil fuels that you may choose from. The assignment is in the shared directory (H: Drive) on the computers at school and is due on the third of October (a week from tomorrow).

A - Law 12 - Yesterday was one of those days...we spent the whole class talking about advertising to children and barely touched on the Irwin Toy Limited v. Attorney General of Quebec (1989) case. Today during the first half of the class, I'll need you to work on Human Rights questions 1, 3, 4, & 5 from page 47 and 2, 3, & 5 from page 49 in your text. For the second half of class, you'll be grouped in threes and will be responsible for reviewing and explaining a case at the end of the chapter to the class.

D - Geography 12 - Today we will quickly review the notes we've taken on the rock cycle, and the process of metamorphic rock creation (contact, regional, and dynamic metamorphism). After our review we will look at hot spots (yep it's me showing you stuff about Hawai'i again!) and plate boundaries (divergent, convergent, and transform), then we'll look at geothermal energy and the effects of the Juan de Fuca plate and ridge just off our shores (think Cascadian subduction zone with earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis...oh my)! You'll have some work to accomplish, but it is not due until Monday.
