Welcome to the first real week of school. Today's schedule is B-A-Lunch-D-C and the morning blocks are shortened to an hour each due to an extended advisory group.

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - We'll be continuing our discussion of systems and spheres in the class. I will go over your notes on the hydrosphere, the atmosphere, and the biosphere along with your homework from the weekend (q. 9 from page 19 - on systems). We'll work on some vocabulary and try to wrap up the introductory chapter to Earth Science in your text.

A - Law 12
- We'll continue our discussion from Friday on what we would like to see stronger laws about. Be prepared to discuss the purposes of law and why people break it. I will have a power point presentation on the history of law and expect a question or two for homework.

D - Geography 12 - Today we will begin by learning to observe as a geographer would. We'll head outside for some observational and analytical skill development. Be prepared to look beyond simple observations and try to see a larger picture with connections to the wider world. We'll practice an analysis of a photo in class and you'll start working on your first assignment for the course.
