Monday's schedule is A-B-Lunch-C-D.

A - Law 12 - Friday we watched a really good Law & Order episode dealing with a sexual assault and some pretty hefty constitutional issues. Today we'll spend some time debriefing the episode and reviewing the cases you discussed on Friday. After we finish this we'll start into our criminal law unit. Expect a few questions for homework and I'd like to give you a "head's up"....your first test will be next Monday (October 5th).

B- Earth and Space Science 11 - We worked on our mining in Canada poster last week and I want to remind you that it is due this Friday; this would not be a good assignment to omit! Today we are going to take a few notes down about mining and have some questions to answer out of the text. We should finish mining tomorrow and look at geologic time for the rest of the week. I'd like to give you a "head's up"....your first test will be next Monday (October 5th).

D - Geography 12 - Today we'll look at some video of the aftermath of the Izmit Turkey 1999 Mw7.4 earthquake along the North Anatolian fault. We'll also look at the Loma Prieta (San Fracisco) 1989 Mw6.9 earthquake along the San Andreas fault. We'll try to compare the two and then take some notes down about the three types of faults. After, you'll have a series of questions to complete from the Geosystems text (14, 15, 16, & 19 from p. 412). I'd like to give you a "head's up"....your first test will not be next Monday (October 5th)...it will be the tuesday following Thanksgiving (October 14th - don't eat too much turkey!).
